MICHAEL EMMETT SWEENEY 2/16/1915 – 12/6/2006

Incidently, the Sullivan cousin in Saratoga named after your Grandfather, Michael E., is the Honorable Michael E. Sweeney, the State Supreme Court Judge of Upper New York State.  His mother Mary Sweeney, was the really loved "Aunt Mary" of mine own Father's generation.  They were all very special people." (Helen Culyer to Bob Sullivan; May 28, 1980

Married Beatrice Swartfigure

children:

Maureen Sweeney
Kevin Sweeney

Beatrice has lovingly kept each article in which Michael was named.  In fact each of the articles saved are about Michael's achievements.  There have been many more written except they were from an earlier time when the paper on which the articles were written didn't survive the years.

According to Beatrice Michael remembered Arthur and Edmond Sullivan coming up from NY in the summer to stay with his Aunt, also remembers Charles and Daniel P. Sullivan coming to visit in Saratoga Springs. (Beatrice Sweeney to Bob Sullivan; Dec 9, 1990)
